If you are a reader of mine, my guess is that you are already on the Pro-life side of the fence. There isn't much I can say, that hasn't already been said. Therefore, on this anniversary of Roe V. Wade, I decided to simply share with you some of the most meaningful words I've read on the subject. If you happen to read this, and you are not pro-life...I hope that these quotes will impact you. Because if we don't have give the right to life to the least among us, what do we have?
"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves." - Proverbs 30:8
"A nation that kills its children in the womb has lost its soul." - Mother Teresa
"I know there are many who sincerely believe that limiting the right of abortion violates the freedom of choice of the individual. But if the unborn child is a living entity, then there are two individuals, each with the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." - Ronald Reagan
"All the wars ever fought, all the holocausts ever perpetrated, all the plagues that ever raged, all the bombs that ever dropped, all the famines that ever laid waste to the land, put together, have not killed the number of human beings wiped out by abortion." - Fr. Frank Pavone
I believe, as women, it is so important for us to support other women. I can't imagine the fear and uncertainty that comes with an unexpected pregnancy. But it should be just as hard to imagine that it is an option to kill a child. We are the pro-life generation. Lets work, and pray, to make this unheard of.
